This is a picture I took at my pond behind the house. We have too many fish for the size of the pond but the Blue Heron is getting all of the big ones, instead of thinning out the smaller ones.Took a burst of 8 exposures with elapsed time of .51 (second). The heron swallowed the fish in this time frame.
Exposure 1/640 sec at f/6.3--Focal length 550mm--exposure bias 0EV--ISO 280--Exposure Program Aperture Priority-- Metering Mode Pattern--Nikon D850/Tamron SP AF 150-600 FS-6.3 (Partly Sunny,9/40/.12 AM).
Hope this is not TMI.

Nice Photos! Did anyone notice that the upper half of the shadow in photo number 6 resembles the shadow of a man in a hat?

Thanks!

Good shots. I was wondering, if I try to take the same picture how would I keep the light house and house from leaning back, in first picture?

Thanks! The first shot was taken at 10mm on a crop sensor. So 15mm on full frame. Had to do this to get the entire lighthouse in the shot from that angle as there was a brick wall behind me. I probably could have straightened it up some in post, but it may have chopped the top of the lighthouse off. The shot that you see from the front was taken from the 2nd floor balcony from the keepers house.
