Here's a couple of shots of the moon rising over the Atlantic Ocean, Cocoa Beach, FL. The first was shot at 8:34 pm @ 500mm (sigma 150-500 lens Canon T3) and the second was shot at 8:35 pm @ 164mm. My first attempt at this. Fortunately the sky was clear. C&C always welcome.

Sunfish 33 Loc: Merritt Island, Fl

I shot this at 9:02 @ 18mm, a little over exposed so you could see where I was shooting from and the setting. By that time the moon had lost it's orange color.

I like the second one. Nice minimalism in color. Kind of a rose hued moon w. some nice blues w. good horizon line placement. You could add a cloud in post processing if that suits you. I'd go easy though.

The third one is nice, but might work better if it were not centered as it is.
