Yes, it is sad to see Old Rail line unused or disappear altogether. I grew up in Export, Pa. from 1950-1970, we had a "Spur-Line" that ran from Trafford, Pa. to Export, Pa. and at one time further beyond, to support the Coal Mines that once existed in that area of Pennsylvania, but now those all part of history too, this "Spur-Line" was off the Pennsylvania R.R. main line. I do remember as a Kid, hearing that "Whistle-Blow" and run down to see the Train pass bye our Neighborhood, named Marlee Acres, after my Aunt Margret and my Uncle Lee Simmons. My dad always set-up a fancy model Train display in our basement once a year before Thanksgiving and dismantled it some time after January thru March. Maybe that Is why today, I still love trains. I understand that R.R. Spur line was destroyed by a Flood back in the early 1990's and now is being made into a Bike Path. I must return one day and walk that path and remember those days of my youth. I am now retired from FoMoCo. with 34 years seniority and presently 68 years old and time is fleeting away, so time will tell.

If I had a speeder, I'd pick the rails.
Looks like a peaceful area.

Silverman go back sooner than later, You never know when or if you’ll have the opportunity again. AndI’m sure it will bring back memories. And help to create new ones you can share when you’re 78 .
