I have shot these teams before, but the last time I had to leave before half time. Remember? The heat here in Las Vegas was 105 at game time.
This game a beautiful 81, man what a difference..

That was the exact word that came to my mind as well!!!!!

Very jealous of 81 and sunny for shooting, well, anything, but especially sports. I shot HS XC yesterday here in VT. 58, cloudy, dark, and threatening to rain!!!!!

Hey Jules. Excellent shots as always. Yes 81 sounds a whole lot better. We are cooling off as well, love it. I shot a Gymnastics meet yesterday (700-800) photos. Almost all were crap, too much noise and not sharp at all. Keep up the good work, you the man!

Tom:
I have never shot gymnastics but if the lighting is like basketball it is very challenging. To stop the action you have to use at least 1/640 at 2.8 iso probably 5000-8000. Fill the viewfinder.
Keep shooting.

To far away. Next time up the iso to 3500-5000 at 2.8 maybe 1/800 to 1/1000 or more. Don't be afraid to up the iso just shoot tight. What equip. again are you using?
Jules
This sample shots are at 12.800 iso
Notice how tight they are shot. First shot at 12,800 second shot 16,000 I wanted to see how they would come out at high iso.
