I have used Epson printers for years. l never had a problem.

My most recent is the 860 expression great pics great printing cd's
I decided to try the canon ws pro 100 got the $350 gift card.
Was a great deal.
This canon is apiece of crap. Printed one set pics came out nice.
Since then it just keeps saying paper. out
I managed at one time to get it to print a cd.
It came out sideways.
cant get it to work. Tired of playing with canon stupid software
Been playing for ever, I give up. can't get it to work.

I have never had any problems with my Canon Pro100, it is still in its box all 40#s of it. Used my Epson 850 for years... the software gave a message that parts had outlived usefulness. After trashing it in the dumpster, I later found out it was only the waste ink sponge. Now use a Canon 9020 which was a make room for new model $50 Adorama give away .... great 8x10 printer.

I have a Pro 100 and have never had a problem, going on 2 years now. Sorry to hear that you are experiencing issues.
