First pic - hand held using motion and crazy light then processing on the extremes with photoshop - using photoshop to simulate an HDR look. Shots likes this can be portents of visions to come.....sometimes
Second pic - took it today up the road a piece and after a little rain. You can't tell from the image but each form exists on a different focal plane than the preceeding one. So the leaf at the bottom is on it's own focal plane, then the first flower steps back, then the bud is on yet a 3rd distinct focal plane and finally the crown. Not image stacking exactly - but certainly paying attention to precise focusing - 3 shot in camera multiple exposure.
Enjoy - Comment if you feel so moved.

Striking photos, especially like the 2nd. Nice work.
Nice work on the second one. Don't think we have those in the Hoosier state. Is that a wild flower? It's quite pretty.

thanks. Nope, not a wildflower - bee's balm I think
Your results remind me of a guest speaker at my local camera club.
His HDR process was to divide the landscape in vertical thirds refocusing for each third and taking his three HDR exposures (9) all together. Process them then stitch everything together results were everything was in focus foreground and background. Lots of work
He sells his new work is called blood rescue. Has a following in Europe
Eric I Hansen was or is a teacher at Long Beach State or City College Ca
Did you send me you blog address?
