Pat and I have been birding for about 25 years just deciding to start capturing the birds so I'm just sharing a few of the thousands we have taken.

It is fun, isn't it. By concentrating on taking pictures rather than just "check listing" I have found I can enjoy the sightings of these birds over and over again. I can remember the locations and circumstances of most of the photos I have processed and saved over the years; they are not just "tics" on a list.
Nice. I particularly like the last two. The green jays are really nice.

You are discovering that bird photography is somewhat different, and more difficult, than bird watching. Enjoy your new direction, but be advised, it can become addictive and expensive.
Got my first pair of binoculars in 1957. Have been a birder ever since. I can remember where, when, and the circumstances of every one of the over 600 birds on my "Lower 48" Life List. Now, like you, I am adding to my "Photographed List".
Nalu is right photography can be both addicting and expensive---but also frustrating and oh so satisfying. I hope you continue to enjoy both birding and bird photography on an equal basis.
I believe your Curve-billed Thrasher is a Long-billed Thrasher.
Really good shots, molsonice!
