Beautiful image, Randy, but I'm not ready for cold weather!

Thanks, Corky. Perhaps the winter will be as mild as the summer was nasty! One can only hope.

Thanks for the kind words and visit, always very much appreciated!

The sun goes down on another summer season at the island home of the Ministry of Mayhem, somewhere here in Maine. The days are growing shorter, the nights growing colder. Soon no one but the hardiest of lobstermen will be out on that water. Except, of course, the heroic feline sailors of the mighty Ministry Fleet, ready at a moment's notice to sail into harm's way.

Okay, maybe two moments, as being quite truthful, they're really not too happy about going out in freezing weather, and sometimes it takes a little push to get them going.

Unreal image.
Have the witches you are acquainted with used their powers in (helping you) creating unreal images?
Huh? You can tell me. I'll keep it secret.
Honest.

Thanks for the big smile, Randy.

Thanks, Marion. As Madame P always says, “The secret’s in the sauce.”

In the sad, dull days before I got this swell job at the Ministry of Mayhem, I didn’t know one end of the camera from another. I spent many hours trying to figure out how to place the film in my new digital camera. I checked the manual index under ‘film,’ ‘installing film,’ and ‘loading the film,’ and found nothing helpful.

Then, in frustration and with nothing else to do that Saturday night, quite by chance, I found a flyer for—and went to—my first hamster fight, held in the parking lot behind the local Stop ‘n’ Shop grocery store.

I won big, and received congratulations from a shady character who introduced himself as the Martian. He offered me a job at the Ministry of Mayhem, told me to sleep on it, said it would be the last job I would ever hold. It didn’t pay much and there would be floors to mop, but there would be other compensations like adventure, excitement, and a chance to travel.

And, oh yes, there would be Dark Ladies.

Beautiful Dark Ladies. Who would teach me how to use a camera properly. Among other things.

Well, who could say no to a proposition like that?

The rest, of course, is history.

Thanks for your very kind words and the laugh, always much appreciated, and thanks for stopping by!

I remember the scene very well! It’s hard to believe winter will soon be here, I hope those sailors of the Ministry Fishing fleet have their thermals to hand. A beautiful sunset and excellent capture Randy.

Thanks, Sylvia. I sincerely hope you were blessed with equally pretty sunsets while you visited there. One of the prettiest places I know.

Thanks for your very kind words and visit, I always appreciate it!

Very nice shot Randy.
I wonder who or what is lurking within those clouds?

Thanks, Roger. One never knows when a Dark Lady will come sailing from the clouds on re-entry! This is particularly common this time of year around Halloween, lol!

Glad you enjoyed the shot, and thanks for the laugh and your visit, always much appreciated!

Can't think of anything the Mayhem ministry could have done to make this a Moor Purrfect picture!
