Fantastic captures Donna, the only one I ever got was a bit blurred

More like a blob. lol This one stayed with the same stand of wildflowers for some reason, and didn't flit all over the place. Every time I see one I think it's a hummingbird. I guess these make a fine meal for lizards and even praying mantises, and mantises even go after hummingbirds. I just hope they don't catch them..and I hope that lizard you saw didn't enjoy hummingbird moth for lunch after you left!
