Hedgehogs are excellent slug and snail controllers. :-( No hedgehogs here in my home country.

Lightening bug larvas dine on snails and slugs, too. No hedgehogs around here, either, but lots of possums.

I didn't know that--I could really use that in my herb garden around the thyme.

I didn't know that--I could really use that in my herb garden around the thyme. Haven't seen any opossums either--just deer, snakes, moose, and cottontails.
