Aspens along Kebler Pass Road on 9/24. Some of the densest stands of aspens I have seen are in this forest.
Interesting, possibly over exposed.

I hope you do not mind my editing your picture. Uploading it to UHH darkened the image about a third of a stop more than I would like but you get the idea.
I don't mind, but I don't like the change.

What do you not like about it?
Too dark for me. Aspen trunks are white and I like them very white.

I agree about being too dark as I said above. And I agree about the trees being very white. Increasing the exposure will help but so does increasing the clarity, contrast, highlights and whites in LR. I tried that but lost detail so I dialed it back a bit. You should get a better result by editing the raws but you have to make sure the exposures match. Another way of approaching this is by bracketing the exposures when shooting. Sure, you will have many more pictures to deal with but the result may be worth it. Anyway, we got some discussion going on this. Keep shooting and posting.
May I remind the readers that before posting a 'remake' one must ask for permission to the op (thread creator). Thank you.

I like the original......beautiful shot!
I like the original better too. The modified one makes the brown ferns too dark along with the white bark on the trees. #1 looks more realistic.
