For me, the orange overpowers the softness of the canyon where there are some gorgeous forms and a feeling of depth. I could see this as either entirely crazy-saturated, or entirely understated, but not half and half
Remind me of the Arizona state flag.
If you have something like Lightroom or Photoshop, applying a DeHaze filter will cut out a lot of the atmosphere.
Why a GIF? Looks like a scene that had huge potential as a JPG. But I wonder if some of the "atmosphere" that Robert mentioned isn't because of the "graininess/noise" from the file format you chose.

I resized the file that is why I used GIF. I probably should not have done that. I posted another Jpeg file of the same picture with another. It is over saturated but I thought it looked good.

Surreal! Love your composition and rich colors. Perhaps some dehazing might improve the clarity.
