My husband and my friends and I spent 2 weeks in Ireland. It was the trip of a lifetime, even though it rained everyday but 1. Just the experience and getting to make new friends was phenomenal. I hope that you enjoy the pictures, most of them were taken from the window of a bus traveling.
A Fishing Village
Old castle
Thatched cottage
Castle
Double Rainbow
Lighthouse seen from friends backyard in Balbriggan
My friends and I entering fort of Michael Collins
Love of roses
Typical day we had
Luas
Love of chandelier
Some nice shots there, the weather looks very similar to here in Wales, can't miss it wherever you go in the UK this summer.
Nice shots. I like the rainbow. Do you care to share which one you are entering the fort? No big deal if not. Sometimes it's interesting to put a face to the name.
Very nic, esp for shooting from a moving bus.
I am the one on the left. I let my husband take the camera over so that I would show up in a picture. I did not take my good camera because as my husband said, if we lost a camera, it's best to lose the cheaper one and not the better one, so these pix were taken with the D70. I will be posting more pictures, but since we returned home, my friend on the right had a heart attack during the trip and when we returned home had to have double bypass surgery so we have been up and down to the hospital.
When we booked our trip we were told that we were going at the hottest time of year, 64 degrees which was a relief to the 90+ that we were experiencing in NY. There was no mention of the rain. But we made the best of it and enjoyed the time we had. We will definitely be back.
You're a pretty lady. Sorry to hear about your friend, hope she's healing ok. Our temps have mostly been 100+, but I'm a cold weather sissy. 64 might be a little cool for me.
Thank you. It's my friends husband, and he's doing much better. It looks like you have 3 special little girls. I also have 3 daughters.
The avitar is kind of small. It's actually two grand daughters and one grand son. They're all cool kids. Good luck with three daughters when they hit their teens.
Already hit the teens. My oldest is 35 and has 3 children, 2 girls and 1 boy, my middle is 34 with 1 boy and 1 girl (who's spending the night with grandma tonight), and my youngest is 29. Must say, the teens were not that bad, expected the worse, but got the best. Alot had to do with great friends.
My youngest Dyanna
My middle with son Darius
My oldest Jodi at graduation
When my girls were younger, miss that age
All 5 of my grandchildren
Darius and Sena at the Aquarium (Notice the little ham)

Oh, and by the way, tactful way of mentioning my grand kids without taking a chance of insulting my age..."three special little girls". You have beautiful daughters and your grand kids look like they'd be a ball to have around. It's always fun to have them spend the night. Have fun. Here's my three grand kids.
Forgot to mention the dog...cool glasses!
She was my best friend. She would let us dress her in all kinds of goofy outfits.

It's great to see kids using their imagination and not just sitting watching television or playing video games.
