Is anyone here using DxO software? If so do you like it, easy to use, and is it worthwhile to have? Thanks.

I used to look at DXO regularly but in more recent times value it less or not at all. Besides camera functions they also don't consider the camera and lens profiles available in the higher end raw converters and editors. Software improvements make hardware less critical if you take advantage of them.
They also don't do layers and I find other software much better for my work.

FWIW:
I make use of DXO on some shots, it has a good noise removal system in PRIME noise reduction.
I start off in Lightroom for management, but will round trip the original raw to DXO for conversion/edits on some images for a different look from ACR easily.
DXO also has an extensive lens and camera database it pulls from for settings.
For me, it is another tool in the bag.
AS an example, original image in Lightroom, same image after a few clicks in DXO.
Original - ACR
DXO

They most definitely have camera and lens profiles, probably the best available. Don't know where you got that information from. They have literally thousands of combinations of camera and lens profiles. DXO PhotoLab Elite is one of the best raw processors available and is always very highly rated in reviews.Their Prime noise reduction is just about the best noise reduction available anywhere by anyone. It has a more limited feature set than some of it's competitors, but the results one can get are first rate. It's my goto raw software.

Me, yes, yes, and yes. Been using it since version 4, and though I don't use it for all of my images, (I use Lightroom), I do find myself using it for some of the more challenging images I take. I am waiting to see them merge more of Nik's Control Point technology, and have a more seamless connection between the two. You can always download a free, unlimited trial if you are curious. But I would watch the videos first. BTW, DXO's lens/camera profiles are absolutely the best in the business.
When I have to look in Quicken to see if I bought something, I know I haven't been using it. Yes, I have it. No, I'm not using it.
It seems to be the best at reducing NOISE from RAW image files, but I don’t use it on JPEG image files because it is as good as many of the othe noise reducers. But on RAW images it is the best... I wish they’d make it as a plug-in for Photoshop soon...

I am told it does a great job - better than LR - on removing perspective distortion as buildings that seem to lean away from you. True?

I have but use it sparingly since I switched to a Fuji camera -- their software does not process Fuji RAW images
I think that the problem is that DxO still has basic and elite versions. The elite has everything that was listed as missing. The respondent was looking for elite features in basic software.

You must have a very old copy. Lots of new feature have been added over the years.
