I need a new printer,I need an all in one, print, scan, copy.I've had a Canon,it was good while it lasted.About 3 1/2 yrs.I was thinking of spending a little more this time, about $350..Does anyone have any recommendations. For either a Canon or Epsom.

Ink jets regularly die on the vine if you do not print constantly. They clog up and eventually cannot be revived.
If most of your work is B&W, I highly suggest a all-in-one Laser printer.
I have a Brother purchased at Costco about 4 years ago that does a great job.
If you require color, especially for photos, then hands down get an Epson.
You might wish to consider two separate machines for for the different tasks.

This is what we do, Brother All-in-one and a Canon Photo printer, Canon gets Canon ink, Brother get discount ink, no problems, BTW brother printer lasts a long time with no problems, good for a less expensive printer, Bob.

I gave my girlfriend an Epson Artisan 810 for her birthday about 10 years ago, it still purrs right along and she really likes it! It certainly was in your price range, By now, I expect it to be replaced by at least one follow-up model, but maybe the pricing is still in the same ball park. I think it's worth checking out!

My vote has been Epson since 2001.

How large do you print? If you keep it at or under 8.5 X 11 and do a lot of b&w, the Canon TS9020 is pretty amazing. It also does full color and scans and copies and, doesn't take up a lot of space.

I've used a Canon Pixma Pro-100 for 3 or 4 years. It's never once clogged and produces brilliant 13x19 prints with a long life (even though it is a Pigment ink).

Even better, it's regularly on sale for $50-150 with rebates from Canon. Right now B&H sell it for $120 (including 50 sheets of 13x19 paper) after rebate.

The pro-100 is a stand alone photo printer and, like its siblings the pro-1 and pro-10, is fairly large. I know, I have a 10 and a 100, plus they're not really suited to printing black and white or text documents. The OP mentioned interest in an all in one. As for never clogging, I only use Canon inks and I have to run mine through the cleaning cycle more often than I'd like to. I'm guessing that's because I don't print every day, that's what the TS9020 is for.

That's what I do, too. I have an HP M476dn for office-type printing and a Canon PIXMA Pro-10 for photo printing. In a pinch, the HP will print poor-quality photos.
