I received this email today:-

But one person who listened to Clinton’s remarks was beyond shocked; she was downright angry. That person is Juanita Broaddrick, who has yet to receive any sort of fair hearing or justice for the rape she claims she experienced in 1978…at the hands of Bill Clinton.

“If you want the FBI to go back that far @HillaryClinton @MSNBC to investigate Ford’s allegations…let’s investigate my RAPE allegations against Bill Clinton, too,” Broaddrick tweeted. “Seems only fair.”
Oh, 1978?

That’s ancient history. That’s not current and relevant, like an accusation from 1982. Or was it 1983? Forgive us for not recalling; we’re pretty sure Ford herself isn’t quite certain of the date. That’s unlike Broaddrick, who can tell you exactly where she was, what she was doing, and the exact nature of her encounter with then-Arkansas Attorney General Bill Clinton. She can recall the details like it happened yesterday. You know, as you would expect from a woman who had been sexually violated by someone she knew.
In an interview with Tucker Carlson, Broaddrick recounted how Hillary Clinton approached her at an event shortly after her husband won the race to become Arkansas’ next governor.

“She grabbed a hold of my arm, and she says with this very angry look on her face, ‘Do you understand everything that you do for us?’” Broaddrick said. “At that moment, I felt she knew and she was telling me to keep quiet.”

Hillary Clinton and her husband would, of course, say that all of this is nonsense – that Broaddrick (and Paula Jones and Kathleen Willey and, for that matter, Monica Lewinsky) were just pawns of the “vast right wing conspiracy” against them. But them saying it does not make it true.

Nor, to be fair, does Broaddrick’s claim make it a fact that Bill Clinton raped her. The point is, though, these accusations have been treated much differently than has the one aimed at Brett Kavanaugh.
Oh, it’s a different time, the Democrats will say.
Mmm-hmm.

Then tell us this: Why, in THIS time, in THIS supposed MeToo era, aren’t the Democrats taking seriously the allegations against DNC Deputy Chairman Keith Ellison? Why isn’t Hillary Clinton being asked about those accusations by Rachel Maddow? Why aren’t there front page stories in The New York Times about that sordid situation?

I think mine might. We'll never really know because I don't mess around. I believe in t***h, honesty, and respect in marriage. I don't do anything I would be afraid to have my wife find out. Marriage is too complicated for me to judge others on how they run theirs. We've been married almost 40 years, we've probably been through as many bad times as good times, but we made it through them together. I think I could survive getting caught having an affair, or at least a fling, but it would change our relationship drastically, and not in a good way. She would be very hurt. I would never risk either of those. I have no idea if the Clintons have an arrangement. She shouldn't have attacked the other women, at least not all of them, but survival is a pretty strong instinct.
