I have bought a number of cameras over the years from National Camera and Exchange and I highly respect them for their honesty. Their service after the sale could not be any better as far as I am concerned. Their prices are in line with other big name stores. Their employees are very knowledgeable and will get answers to your questions. I only wish they would open a location in the east metro of the Twin Cities.

Anyone have any Rokkor lenses ? My 58mm f1.4 was lent to my Brother and was returned in pieces . Would also consider buying the f1.2 if anyone is selling one .
The broken 58mm has its aperture adjustment ring off the barrel and a few of the ball bearings are lost . Can this be repaired ? Are ball bearings even available ? Thank you .

Sold a 58mm f/1.2 recently for $380. If I were you I would buy another f/1.4. Much cheaper and not that much different.

I have purchased several older film SLRs from the local garage sale web sites. 5miles and let go are really good. There are tons of Facebook pages of local for sale sites. I found a mint conditioned Nikon F2 with a 50mm f1.8, a 70-210 mm f3.8, a flash, an autowinder and leather case for $25.00 at an estate sale. It took a new battery and it was working perfectly. These deals are out there you just have to search for them. I also got an Nikon FG with a 28mm f2.8 lens for $25.00. Just needed battery and cleaning. Good hunting.

Ron has never actually said what camera he is looking for. Maybe if he would tell us he might find one right here on UHH.

Yeah , the bokeh on the 1.2 is better but carries a heavy price tag . Always loved the 1.4 . Suits my needs . Had the lens since 1972 . Never will lend out equipment ever again !

I just ordered the film camera from National Camera Exchange today. Their prices may not be competitive but their stated condition is higher, NM Near Mint vs Very Good on the other sites. I will keep everyone updated when I receive the camera.

Here is the update. I just received a call from National Camera Exchange saying the camera doesn't work do I still want it. I said no, cancel order.

Based on my experience with some lenses and tripods, you can trust KEH ratings to be very conservative. This one looks like a winner:

Has anyone ever purchased used film cameras or any camera from National Camera Exchange? I collect film cameras and there is one I need for my collection at National Camera Exchange.
Thank you, Ron

Do you need it to work, or just be a museum piece? I have many vintage cameras but I am only interested in ones I can use and have available film.
