Had this character a daily visitor at my feeding stations in August. Kinda cute, don't you think??????? Most of these birds do look a bit scruffy this time of the year, but this one outdid himself.

Wow. I've seen some scruffy birds but this one takes the cake. All those new pin feathers growing in. A blue jay? vz

Thanks fer looking at my cute bird, tis appreciated.
Yep. tis a scruffy thieving Jay, one of a dozen that plague me in the summer. Most head a bit further south in the winter which give me a break. This picture of this character bout a week or so later. Looks a bit better.

Thanks for looking and the kind comment, tis appreciated. Fraid these guys are no match for your Everglade ballerinas you so graciously post. Love birding in your area but with our dollar being worth only 70 cents we dont make too many trips down your way. (any thing costing $100 American takes $130 out of my pocket) Hopefully next year we will be able to get to the Fort Myers area again, am keeping my fingers crossed.
Best of luck with your picture taking and keep them a-coming. I look forward to see every one.
