yup, we date ourselves.somehow, it's all the more impressive when you consider that this is freshwater - not the ocean
When I was 18 I worked at a place called Interlochen National Music Camp, about an hour's drive from Lake Michigan. I was dating a girl from Texas and one day I took her out to Lake Michigan. She said "I didn't know the ocean came to Michigan." When I told her it was a lake, she didn't believe me until I had her walk down to the edge and scoop up some water to taste. She was amazed at all that fresh water ...... evidently, she'd never seen that much fresh water in the whole state of Texas.

It might be in her name. Do you remember Gale Storm?

Unfortunately I do remember her in a 1950’s show called “My Little Margie”. She played Margie if my memory is correct.

BTW, I really loved the mood of your image. Reminds me of some of the Nor’easters we have here.

Wow! Love the shot. But why do we always blame "Gale" when it's windy?

Gale has more of a reputation then Windy does lol.

Thank you, Charlie. It's good to know the memory cylinders are still banging on all 8 (and how long ago was that?).

Reruns don't count!

(Seiches are also impressive on the great lakes.)
