As I stated originally, the photos are fine. We just prefer to make new memories rather than pore over photos of old ones.

Lame come back.

OK, I am fine with that. You go spend days in your wedding book, I will spend days with my grandkids. DS,DF.

I think photographers should dress-up for weddings. Jeans & t-shirts are definitely not an option. I wish I could wear a nice dress & heels but then I would only last about an hour before my feet would start killing me. The best I can do is fix my hair, wear makeup, black slacks, a nice blouse, and some comfortable black Sketchers that will keep me running around to capture all shots possible. My 18 year old daughter is my assistant and she does dress up in a nice dress & heels.

Some Sundays I drive past a Catholic Church as mass is letting out and am still astonished at the casualness of the dress among the attendees. This country seem to be making a thing out of not dressing up. Heck, I've been to my uncle funeral where the director had to cajole a couple of young men to remove their ball hats. Saying that, I'm 67 and old school enough to at least wear a jacket and tie at such events. Black, I think, is perfectly appropriate for the working wedding photographer.

Yeah I think the deal about not dressing up started with our generation back in the 60's. My dad railed at me about how I looked like a farm worker because I wore 501 blue jeans. Actually "bracero" was the word he used. I've noticed it's common to see professional cameramen working for TV stations dressed like somebody who sleeps under a bridge. I agree with the statement above that he photographer and crew should blend in and be "socially invisible". they are there to record the scene not to be a part of it.

[quote=BVBob]Sharpshooter, One thing you may want to consider is that the person picking up the tab for the photographer and wedding is most likely what you refer to as an "old control freak"........
