One of my favorite hiking trails is in the Orillas Verdes National Monument near Taos, NM. This trail doesn't go all the way down to the Rio Grande but does offer a great place to sit and watch the rafters and wildlife
p2 - Very cool images, Kat!

Beautiful Views Jim..
Here is a strange story...The main road down in that county rides the tops of hills and mountains and this is the road to the ski center,,,,the top of the tows, which means that you have to drive DOWN to got to the TOP of the tow, a three mile drive

Very nice start Lesley and just in time.
You've got a great eye, steve
A great challenge start! Several of my favorite views were chosen before me, and placed on the National Park list. But they are gorgeous!
This is the view of "America, the Beautiful " from Pike's Peak National Park in Colorado.
This is the early morning view from Niagara Falls.
Somewhere in the Blue Ridge Mountains.
From a ridge near here..............gone all day...
