Trout Hall was the home James Allen the son of William Allen who founded the village of Allentown in 1762. He called this his lodge where he went to hunt and fish. Most people lived in log cabins. His home was in Philly. I stopped in for a visit on sat. I guess when you have that kind on money you live it up. And yes he had slaves.

Nice shots on the inside. All but one (possibly two) are straight up and down--level horizon!
