Fast and figety subjects. Good pictures. I am drawn to these tiny birds myself and shoot off of a tripod with a corded remote. The lense is no more than two feet from our feeder. Believe it or not, the birds get used to the gear although the shutter noise from my Nikon scares the faint of heart.

Hey joe, #1 is a fantASTic image showing its wing movement nicely. I have gotten good results too showing a hummers wing movement using flash at one over 250. keep up the good work.
