Panorama from 6 images merged in Lightroom, finished in Photoshop with Landscape Pro, Topaz Adjust. Cropped in Lightroom after processing. The completion schedule for the monument is measured in decades and is 100% privately funded. Construction began in 1948, and I doubt it will ever be completed. But, oh it will be glorious if it ever is.

Distance is deceiving, image was shot, hand held, at the base of the mountain. Nikkor 28-300 @ 34mm, composite of 5 images

Nice photo, I've waited decades too, but now 80 probably wont be around for the ribbon cutting!!
