I have a feeling I've posted both the elements used in this composite previously, but here, and together, they have a somewhat different feel. For me, the b&w adds a bit of drama that may not have been the case had I used colour.
Your critique would be most welcome.

Drama plus enough oddity to arouse curiosity. A worthy addition to your already substantial body of successful creations.

Hi! I like the image! IMHO, I offer the following suggestions for you to consider:
1. Darken the tree trunk on the right side of the image. It is currently too bright and over powers the seated statue.
2. Increase the sharpness of the statue making it a stronger focus point of the image then what it is currently. What do you feel about my suggestions? Regards, Stan

Yes, I agree with both your suggestions. I inadvertently used two quite low resolution images and, as I want to print it, I’m in the middle of re-doing it, so it will be relatively straight forward to make the necessary adjustments. Thanks for the guidance Stan, it’s much appreciated.

Fine shot. Bright spots not a problem for me, as they lead the eye around, then to the figure.

Wish I could get a bit more of it at times Linda - creativity seems to evade me at times!
Thanks for your comments.

Thanks Bob. I think I will reduce them a bit, provided the impact isn’t lost. Glad you like it.

Thank you TriX, glad you like it. This one was fairly straightforward - all basic Photoshop stuff really using quite simple tools and methods that are easily learned.

Pretty dramatic. When in first took a quick look i thought I was looking at a negative. Than i realized it was a B/W. I think it was the contrast that initially fooled my eyes. I would not change anything.

A sculptor uses a simple mallet and a simple chisel, too. Not many can see the final product before it comes out.
