Well for the Osprey it was Sushi dinner.
Was out with several other shooters this evening. Everyone had expensive FF cameras and long lenses on tripods using remote shutter releases.
I brought my little travel camera I purchased here on the Hog last week, a Sony bridge camera, RX10 MIII
Shot in jpeg for the heck of it, probably 50 yards away .... I'm impressed with this little gem.

Nice series Beercat...I have the Sony RX10 MKIV and I love it...of course it's not a little gem but rather a big gem!

Thanks to the ones that gave kudos.
Sure they are heavily cropped it due to the distance from the subject, about 50 yards but they still work for social media.

Agreed .... I tried to snap several 'action' shots but that is where the RX10 doesn't do what my FF Canon or Sony will do. The focus is a bit slow when you stretched out at 600mm. With my FF cameras the focus for 'action' is much better but for reasonably still subjects the RX10 MIII does just fine.
