I would feel that would warrant a trip there just for the show. I wish I didn't have the commitments I made already.

This is fantastic. I'm sure your work will be well received, as it should be.

My first public photography show will be this Saturday in Atwater Village, Ca at a spoken word function called Strong Words. I will be showing 8 large images. Anybody in the area, feel free to come on by. Incredibly eclectic group.

Robert,

Congrats on your show.

I wanted to ask that in your website there is an image that I like a lot, mainly because the contrast. I would be interested to know you did it. Is it the same frame at different times? Seems like a lot of work for Photoshop. Light painting also seems to be out of the question. Thanks.

Congratulations. It must make you very proud to have your name on the billing AND to do such powerful work as to get you there. Well done sir.

No photoshopping, just lens profile attached and color correction to make it cooler. Image was shot at 9:46 pm with only the light of the nearly full moon for illumination. Camera was Nikon D7100, Sigma 24 mm f/1.4 10 (which is a real hoover for light) second exposure, lens wide open. Those Bristlecones in the foreground are 2000 to 3000 years old. Altitude 10,500 ft in the White Mountains eastern edge of the Owens Valley.
