Getting a Feel for My Canon SX 40 on Manual Settings

Trying to get a feel for this camera on manual settings...the wheel is a little sensative and sometimes I turn it too far one way or the other. It certainly is a fun camera to play with!

By golly you're doing really well.... That first one is super... And that spider's beb ain't too shabby either...

I haven't gotten that far yet with mine... Are you doing both ap and av settings or just one and let it do it thing ?

Thanks...it's going to take a little time to get use to...I'm using full manual.

I have the predessor the SX 30 I have been using it on program, but your photos are incredible, so sharp, such great color, your settings were totally spot on, if this is just playing I cannot wait to see you get serious with it. You have done a fantastic job, love them all

Thanks Warhawk...I'm really enjoying carrying this little camera in the heat as opposed to lugging my Canon DSLR and 300 lens. ;-)
