Northern Parula warbler

This gorgeous little warbler recently showed up in our backyard. I had never seen one before and had to search it out online and confirm by our local FB bird group. It's exciting to see a new one and be able to get a photo, too!

Very nice! Thank you for sharing where you are located. Many posters do not have that information and don't share it, and it is always frustrating to wonder where they are located when they show an interesting bird or plant that is new to me.

Nice shot, but if you want it to be realistic, you have overcooked it. Northern Parulas are not that green or blue. Instead, their colors are much more muted.

Definitely a combination of a beautiful bird and excellent photograph.

I guess The Cornell Lab of Ornithology overcooks their website ID page, too, then. lol
