Hi, I am new here to learn from all of you and hope someday I will also share the scenes I capture.
Currently, I have the Canon 60D. I am pretty sure that I can find people with similar equipment.
I will start one picture taken with my 70-300mm IS lens.

That's a great capture. It can be really hard to get a clear image of a moving target with that kind of focal length. It can be hard to take clear image of a STILL target with that focal length and no tripod.
You are correct. I load up the ISO. Here are the parameters.
ISO 2000
1/2000 Sec
F 5.6
207 mm
The lens has a very fast auto focus so I was able to follow and shoot. That made all the difference.
