I just watched Trump say that thousands didn't die in Puerto Rico. He said it was in the teens and the inflated numbers is a Democratic plot. Don't ask me for proof, I don't know how to link to TV news. I watched him say it. If you don't believe he said it, just do a search, it should be impossible to miss. Even Paul Ryan say he sees no reason to doubt the published numbers. I guess Trump must be worrying that the "blue wave" might not happen, so he's helping it.

It would be interesting to see what casualties can be directly attributed to the storm. Obviously I don't know what the numbers include, but Trump is usually quite accurate in his statements.

Of course he is. The only reason I think he may have been lying, is that I could see his lips moving.

Say what you will about Tricky Dick, but at least he kept the bus on the road (and had Haldeman on the ready to grab the wheel if he got too drunk). Those were the good ol' days when Republicans were just crooked but not too batty.
