The item you posted is sold by someone called Upland Direct. Clicking on the link, it appears to be a photo supply business, so even though you're ordering thru Amazon, you're buying it from Upland Direct.
Remember the adage, "You get what you pay for." The cheap lighting set-ups are just that, cheap. My personal thoughts are, if you plan to use the lights for some time and really want good photos, spend a little more and get the higher priced, higher quality lights. They will last longer and give you better results.
I use two painting lamps with the silver reflector shades from Home Depot. I installed daylight bulbs and cover then with translucent shower caps from Bed Bath and Beyond.. no hot spots and the light is diffused just perfectly for portraits
I bought a very similar kit.... from Amazon- works like a charm.
glad you like it. I got my stuff used piece by piece..... I got some luck because a knowing customer in a pawnshop sold all his equipment what was in good shape....
