We're almost at the end of our hummingbird season and they're migrating through. I guess this little guy was trying to leave me with something to remember him by. Folks around here now know why I wear hats with big brims. BYW, I'd guess this is a first year male broad-tail for anyone interested.

I haven't seen the hummers at my feeder since the spring. They must be around, I keep putting fresh necter in the feeder.

Yeah - - they do that. Especially if you FEED them.
