Could we get a stadium for a UHH group photo shoot then we all could have the privilege of photoing your gracious "model".

LOL, very funny, but if you put us up in nice digs with all expenses paid to get there, she might consider it.

Honestly guys, there are tons of models out there looking for photos to pad their portfolios. Most of them only last a couple of months before they realize that paying gigs are hard to get and seldom pay that well. They'll be raw, untrained, and awkward. They'll be late. Many will be impossible to relate to, but the one thing they'll have in common is they will want to pose just to get some decent photos from someone not trying to jump their bones. If you can afford to pay them to get to and from your shoot and buy them lunch, you will be a huge hit.

Start a photographer profile on the usual places. Be polite, respectful, and honest. Don't start with nudes, start with fashion and glamour shots. Start outside with natural light so you don't need any expensive equipment. If you're any good in no time at all you'll have more models than you can shake a stick at.

As has been said many times... What is posted on the internet can never be taken back from the internet. Doesn't really matter if it is a wife, husband, paid model or whatever. I have seen photos (and models) shredded on several modeling sites. Content versus creative genius can be as wide and different as the Atlantic and Pacific oceans. Not sure where the topic title was going but posting any photos here is not without risk of critique, downloading, and lustful eyes. Gotta love the internet.

Your post should probably be the opening splash on UHH, and especially in this particular forum. In my opinion it pretty well sums up this thread.

Being outed on a site like this for legal nudity is only going to bother you if it bothered you in the first place. I think people in the states have finally developed an attitude about nudity that Europe achieved decades ago. When we've seen more of the president's current wife than some of the models on this page and when just about every actress in Hollywood has done a nude scene, it's hard to imagine that it's still possible for people to raise a fuss over nudity.

A couple of years ago a male teacher of one of our children showed my wife a photo from a site like this and asked her if it was her. She said, yes, but that's not really a great photo of me, do you want me to tell you and your wife where to find some better ones? Do you think she'd like to pose with me? He hasn't spoken to her since. When some prurient prude tries to make a big deal over nudity they just look like an oversexed busy body. This is a site about photography. If someone comes after a model for legally appearing here and tries to threaten their job, some lawyer is going to love to represent them.

Is the fuss over nudity or nakedness or some indoctrination? This will remain a battleground until the time comes when everyone accepts personal ownership of how they appear unadorned to others. It has very little to do with "beauty" in that the term is very ephemeral when trying to define it. For example, a young lady was breastfeeding her baby while some some guys started to circle around, trying to catch a glimpse. Her husband was at a loss as to what to do. My wife sat down next to her as I "inserted" myself between the young mother and the young men. We struck up a conversation with her and her husband. We stayed with them until the baby was sated and drifted off to sleep. The circling bunch dissolved because I looked directly at them. Most of the other people just went about doing their business, unaware. It had nothing to do with the "beauty" of the breast. It was the "Forbidden Fruit" syndrome. This falls under the forum on Human Psychology, Anthropology, and Sociology. It is very complex issue.

And I wholly agree with you that such attitudes of those young men has no place here. Wait until they discover that the human body is not sexy, after all. But that's a sign of maturity to recognize that. And another topic in another forum.

Sad to say, there is a hard push back to return to the 1950s here in the states.

The only photos I have posted on this forum have my wife in the image. There are a couple of images with more than one model, but my wife's face is the only face visible in the work I've posted here. I have releases for all the models that have appeared, but our informal understanding is that in a venue like this, they would like their identity protected. As for feedback, I have received some fairly good tips here and of course more than my share of crap.

I would imagine that many, but certainly not all, that get involved in figure photography work with their partners at some point. Of the couple of local photographic friends I have, two got their first taste of figure photography in a classroom setting. The others like me started with friends and partners.

If you're wondering if there are "snapshots" appearing in this section of the forum where the model (wife, girlfriend, etc.) may not be aware they are being posted, I've had a chance to look through most of the threads over the course of the last few months and I don't think there's a lot of that going on.

The bold text is the only part of your statement that I disagree with. There are plenty of sexy bodies, and we have seen a few of those on this forum.
