An egret just fluffing

He was down in a dark confined creek area just below a small waterfall, so there was no special effort to make his surroundings go dark.

thanks Mike. That bird was the only thing light down in a dark area. Usually do have to underexpose. Its the dickens to loose the detail.

They are really something to watch. They almost have rituals of movement. This is the first one I have seen fluff his feathers like this. All up and down the neck. Thanks for looking.
