Hi Folks, couldn't sleep one night while staying in Jeffersonville Indiana (across the Ohio River from Louisville KY), so the wife and I decided to drive to the riverfront along the Ohio river and do some early morning sightseeing. This image is of the newly constructed Abraham Lincoln Bridge that carries northbound I-65 traffic over the Ohio. Behind it is the John F. Kennedy Bridge that carries southbound I-65 traffic. Handheld and taken around 5:30am.

Very nice! I've wondered about the bridges in Louisville at night, but haven't been there downtown with an opportunity.

Me too Paul, there are a lot of bridges in Louisville. They converted an old train bridge into a pedestrian bridge that gives folks the ability to walk across the Ohio river. It's a pretty bridge. In fact, the downtown skyline of Louisville is spectacular from the north bank at night. The city of Jeffersonville has a nice riverfront park right across the river from Louisville. I was a bit on edge walking around at 5am, or should I say...on guard. Thankfully nothing happened.
