Some shots of night football. Difficult to shoot, 100 degrees at game time.
Very effective series, all that intensity! Football should not be played in 100 degrees and baseball should not be played in snow

Hot is one thing Linda, but add some humidity to the mix is tough. Unusual for Las Vegas.
Nice series...I feel sorry for player of any sport that has to compete in those conditions.

I was thinking the same thing, but there young. The referees make the teams take water breaks periodically through the game.

Good shots! Your first shot helps convey the extreme heat.

Thanks for looking Acufine.
These are really good. I'd never be able to get night shots like that.

You are the man. These are great night shots. I am going to do some night shots soon. Been sticking to earlier games so I have light. My 80-200MM lens is not focusing well right now. I am going to clean the contact real good and see if that does it. This was my best lens. I dropped it a few years ago and it cracked my UV filter and some of the fine glass got down in the lens. It was stuck, I too to local shop and he got it working again but said someday the glass would probably move around and it would stick again. He said I should then bring it back and he would take apart and overhaul it. Well maybe it is time. I hope not.Damn 100 degrees at night. We are finally cooling down a little, we had the remnants of the hurricane come through and had a ton of rain and it has helped cool it off. keep it up and shoot tight my friend.

OH yea. All those beautiful young ladies. I thought we had the most beautiful ones. Should have known being Vegas!

Whoa—looked a tad more closely at your shots and realized you’re shooting the Bishop Gorman team. What a blessing. You no doubt have a number of future Hall of Famers, and potential Heisman Trophy winners among your images. Cool gig, indeed!

Tom maybe it is a good idea to have the lens checked out. It's a long season ahead and you don't want Jim on your back. Night football is a tough way to go. It's very difficult to shoot. I shot with the D500 70-200 2.8 with flash point flash. Most shots at 1/500 at 3.2 or 4 iso around 2000. The team wearing the black uniforms I hardly could focus in the low light with my lens.
