Great series Roger. Especially like number three. Is that a Spitfire in pursuit in the final photo? Whilst not quite as famous as the Spitfire, the Hawker Hurricane was a sturdy fighter throughout WWII and you have captured its power beautifully.

Yes, the Hurricane did most of the fighting in that air war (Battle of Britain)

Thanks Ken. There were other aircraft displaying prior to the warbirds arriving but the warbirds were the highlight of the day for me.

Thanks for the comments Caldian. You are quite correct. The hurricane did in fact shoot down more aircraft than all the combined efforts of spitfires etc. But the lines of the spitfire, well.............
