This shot was taken at the city beach in Granbury while on a bright sunny day. Sand was trucked in just to make these Sand Castles. You have some serious shadows that will be challenging because of the afternoon sun. I know it is kind of a messy picture and thought it will be fun to see what everyone does to it. If you desire to crop the picture so be it. Just have some fun.

Thats not just a "Tweak". I never expected to see it against the blackened sky, very compelling.
Tweak popped into my head as an alternative to view. Considering what I did to it, in addition to black and white, I thought it made a fun understatement, but even though Tweak does make one think of a minor adjustment, the dictionary has "to twist or pull something sharply", and that was news to me.
Stunning!

I hope they had a chance to enjoy it before the tide came in...

Have many friends that live there. I live in Waters Edge.
A Castle of sand will never stand as the wind blew and waves came too.
I relocated them to a sturdier base. Sand Castles on the rocks.

I might have found a solution to the harsh shadows....If you can't beat them....exploit them. I thought the background needed some work as well.
