This is my first attempt to take pictures at a fast pitch soft ball game. The pictures are of my niece who pitches for her team. The pictures were taken looking through a chain link fence. I was amazed that I could do that without being able to see the fence in most of the pictures. A few that was action shots I did not have the time to correctly focus and you can see the wire.

Thanks for looking and your comments. The pitching shoots were easy but action shots during plays were not so easy because I was shooting through a chain link fence. Trying to keep the fence from being the focus point With a running player caused issues.

I find the most "central" opening and put my lens right up against the fence, brace myself and use the fence as the stabilizer and hope for the best!1 Everything is so fast.
