I am still learning about HDR and understand that a lot of folks don't like the "overcooked" images ... Sometimes they come out pretty cool though :)
Smoky Mountains
Lighthouse in Maine
Barn in Kentucky
Covered Bridge in Kentucky
Train bridge taken with iPhone and used different software to process
The reason I started this Forum was so we could learn all the styles of HDR. I think composition is very important, then it is all individual interpetation. I like some of them, not really into the effect on the Light House. Thanks for posting, and I hope everyone keeps an open mind.

I think you have done a fantastic. But the last one has way to much noise in the sky. I always use DeNoise a Topaz plug-in and can highly recommend it. But a lot of pp programs have a denoise in them, it's just finding them thats the hard part. LOL

Well done Katie. A bit too much noise and contrast in the last image though.
I really like the smoky mountains. I have added a few I took the othere day. My Sony A65 only bracktes at 0.7ev. I did not have a tripod with me so I could not expand to more images using exposure compensation. As always comments are appreciated.
Hi Katie. You are well on the way with HDR but you mustn't forget the basics. First step is always straighten your horizontals and verticals unless you are after a particular effect. The first three are all markedly sloped and it really distracts from your work.
I look forward to seeing more from you.
