HDR Photography -- Before and After
Small town

There is a small town up around Athens, GA that has taken some pride in their little burg. Thought they were really cute so I did some HDR using +2/0/-2 bracketing on tripod.

I reallly like the Caboose, but anyone who likes trains would. Nice sharp images, well done.

Great shots. I like the selective color in #1, only I would liked to have seen the roof top. Just MHO.

good catch with the roof being cut short. I didn't even notice that. I know when I was taking it I was trying to keep out some cars. I never even noticed I was sacrificing the roof. LOL Another lesson I will remember. Thank you for pointing that out.

I much prefer the first shot though I think it needs a little tweeking to make the very best out of it. I would like a little more contrast to really make the monochrome stand out. The other concern I have is the lens distortion. I think the pic would work a whole lot better if the the left side of the building and the columns were vertical.

I never noticed the distortion. Thank you for pointing that out. Although, I have no idea what i did to cause that or how to correct it. But I need to get my eyes to see what others see in order to improve.
