Caught this big boy crossing a creek in the Bighorn National Forest. Used a Canon 5D with a Sigma 70-200 f/2.8. Was at 200 mm, 1/250 at f/5.6 handheld.

Thanks! I have been looking at the photos that others post, and am trying to approach what they do. I have a ways to go.

Thanks F stop. Hope you find a moose. End of august, the velvet will be coming off and the rut will be about to start. Use caution, they are very cranky in rut. Have a great time, the Tetons are beautiful.
