I'm getting two lenses which darktable does not have profiles for. Have any of you created a profile for a 16-35 f2.8 GM or a 24-70 f2.8 GM that you would be willing to share with me?

How does Darktable stack up against AfterShot Pro (not free but affordable).
I don't like the subscription model that Adobe uses. I once was a Lightroom user, but no more.

try downloading a new version of digikam and see if the profile is there. Gimpphoto is also a new release so your lens may be listed on there. Both are on linux
