Great shots. Unlike Germany, we were able to keep building them without fear of our factories being bombed. Great plane! Boeing built 12,731 of these beauties.

These are real nice shots, great job. Looks like some of these were taken from another plane. Like the last one taken from above while in flight. I can't understand why it has the "Memphis Belle" markings though. Anyway...lovely photos, thanks for sharing.

Thanks for looking and your comments James. I agree, some shots look as if taken from another aircraft, however I was actually standing on a ship, anchored several hundred yards offshore. The aircraft were circling overhead, thus giving the illusion of being shot air to air as they banked. As for the Memphis Bell marking, I am afraid I can't throw any light on that. Once again, thank you.

Very good question. Only common denominator is that both aircraft were stationed at the Duxford Air Base.
