While camping near Badlands National Park last week, we had a pretty harsh, but fast moving storm roll through. I just knew afterwards, there would be a good chance for a rainbow. Actually a double rainbow appeared, although I didn't have a lens wide enough to cover both bows.
Nice pics but that top one speaks for itself.

The rainbow shot is pretty special. You wonder if one could drive beneath it.

I'm thinking that I should crop out the bottom of the road, so it's less distracting.

Great catches! The second one is a "Sun Dog" I got one in Yellow Stone last year.
For myself if I cropped it I would only take the ends of the rainbow to the edge of the picture. Just me.

Beautiful rainbow. I can’t actually say why, but I prefer your first crop, I suppose because, having been there, it gives me a better representation of the area.
I hope you had some nice weather; it was a cold, windy, nasty, dull day when we were there.
