Found this interesting on a short walk with my pup (handheld with dog pulling or would be sharper ;) Do you like it with the web anchoring it or do you think I need to get rid of the web?

Dog or no dog, it’s pretty sharp. I say keep the web anchoring. To me, that’s what makes the leaf interesting and different.

The web grounds the subject. The odd thing is that the image appears to be inverted. Visually, the leaf appears to be pulling the web upwards.

The reason you stopped was for the interesting sight of a leaf caught in the web, right? Removing the web loses the reason for the shot and makes it an entirely different story. I think it's super! I also agree with Bob that it feels upside down I flipped and it works that way, as well as with a slight crop.

Thank you - yes, my guess was to keep it as is.

I know! I thought it quite interesting. This is how it was and I just did a little pp on it to add some color.

Yes indeed (although it first caught my eye because I didn't see the web at first lol) I will have to look at it flipped - may be something interesting there - thanks!

Did you literally run into the web, or just see the leaf floating in space?

Just saw it floating off the trail - I love little odd things like this...I'm nutty like that ;)

The shot is great just the way it is. If the way it is presented is the true up then leave it. The web is the reason it is suspended. Leave it.
