This is very strange. I got an email from Google thanking me for posting two pictures. These two were taken at a car show about an hour south of me, one I did not attend. They were posted on 8/31. Any idea what's going on?
Did they send you a check? HI HI
If there are any links I wouldn't click on them.

Is your location (on your mobile) enabled?
This has happened to me several times in the past couple of months. When I drive near to an "event", I get the "how was your visit" nonsense, and a few times a "thank you for posting" note from Google.
Since the Google privacy rules have been enhanced, I believe that Google is even more intrusive than before.
Are you using a gmail account for your email? That may explain how Google would know about your activities and whereabouts.
I choose not to use gmail for that very reason, and generally avoid Google products whenever possible. Google is in the habit of being very intrusive in users' personal lives.
Jerry, I Googled Trump and instead of some negative link, your photos of antique cars came up... yes!! what is going on. Trump's accusation of Google Predigest is obviously wrong. Jerry, all the cars were on a slant, as expected considering there is no "level" horizon reference in the Catskill Mts of NY.
Can you post the photos here, or have you already cashed the check?
Try using duckduckgo as your browser and/or search engine... No more ads based on subjects in emails or chats... Promised privacy.

I stopped using Google several years ago when the inference of its intrusiveness became more than inference.
I won an amateur competition with the Londonderry Grange photo, here. The contest was run by NH.com, a commercial site promoting tourism in New Hampshire. I had to sign a release allowing them to use the photo for related purposes and I've since seen in on other web sites including the NH Dept of Resources & Economic Development. I'm just an "enthusiast" so I don't really care if it appears elsewhere without my receiving credit or compensation and I wonder if this isn't a similar situation with your photos?.
a WONDERFUL photo fourlocks
