Glowforge? ... Is it a copier / scanner - for all things digital?

Clicked on the link ... but nothing's coming up ... whaddyathink? ... Ever used one? ... Is it like the Epson V850, or no?
I had never heard of it, so I tried Googling it. It seems to be an expensive 3D laser printer. Maybe they make scanners also, but I didn't find one by Googling "Glowforge scanner".

Thanks, Vet ... are both the same? ... I guess so! ... Thanks!
So, are you saying the Glowforge is a Dremel cutter, then? ... Or is this a different device?
Yup ... you led me to a different device ... thanks, Vet ... seems a lot like the Glowforge, huh?
Only five grand!!! ... Oh, well! ... Nice, though ... maybe - in time to come ...
Thanks, again, Vet ....
You can get a Glowforge Pro for only 6k.
Just go to Glowforge.com.

Tried that, R ... dropped out ... some sites don't have good security measures ... this thing is very finicky ... if it senses something's afoot, it gives up!

What does the Pro version do, the regular version doesn't, R?
Haven't had the site drop me - just went back in to find the answer to your question. The Pro version is supposedly 20% faster, will produce larger items and has a more advanced cooling system to allow for all day use. I just have a bad feeling about this company - no reason other than they make a lot of claims but don't offer a lot of specs to back them up. Also, only a 6 month warranty on the basic model and one year on the Pro.

Really, Bob? ... kinda chintzy, huh?
And you can't get a Specs sheet, either, huh?
Well, maybe it's better to go the Dremel route, then ... an established company, who's been around a long time ... look up in this very post - for info ....
Have no interest in this type of printer anyway. Just giving my impression of the company's web site and ads - and I certainly could be wrong. But yes- my instinct would tell me to go with the other. Of course, if I were interested, for that kind of money I would do a LOT more research.

Oh, Really, Bob?
I just might pick up one, and also the PRO one - for good measure ... once I can find the 12 grand ...
