Nice! The cool side really sets off the warm creamy tones. I like the mystery. I also like chives. The flowers I discovered, taste like chives. A delicate taste. Not that I eat flowers as a habit.

Remember a book "Please Don't Eat the Daisies"? Probably not--long ago, by Erma Bombeck, a popular humorist and newspaper columnist. She also wrote "The Grass Is Always Greener Over the Septic Tank," about her family's move to the suburbs.

Well. on eBay I got a few Pentax legacy lenses made for the old film cameras (Takumar) and they are as fine as any made today--not $12, but $50 to $100 tops. Of course, they are glass and brass.

Optically it seems pretty decent and the AF on my k1 is pretty good with it, provided it knows what you are going for. Back Button Focus helps. I have the 28-80 macro from the same series and optically it works well. Would be nice if both were a stop faster but they would be priced accordingly.

I love the quality of the Takumar primes, the only downside is the m42 adapter for infinity focus, it's a bit fiddly. On the other hand if you don't need infinity focus, there are adapters that let you swop between k and m42 in seconds. I dismissed these adapters for years not appreciating that a lot of interesting subjects are not at infinity.

I never read it and I wasn't taken to see the movie, but the title is unforgettable.

Sorry--you are right--Jean Kerr wrote that book, Bombeck wrote the other. Same era, similar outlook, different women.
